This is a new client. I was called out to inspect a large pine tree. The top 35 feet was dead. We had a conversation about possibly topping the tree versus removal. I was my recommendation that the tree be removed. As topping would create a hazard. This tree was being killed be a pine beetle. I recommended that the trunk of the tree be left at 15 feet to create habitat and continue to support the oak tree that was growing beside it. The client liked my quote and suggestion. We were hired to do the work.
